Despair at road pair

I WOULD like to make a comment regarding the so-called “speed reduction” traffic lights located on the Docks Link Road, Barry.

On February 21, I was driving along Port Road at the junction of the Link Road.

A motorcyclist undertook me at that junction, proceeded to overtake three cars and then turned onto the Link Road in front of a line of traffic from the incorrect lane.

When I got onto the Link Road, this motorcyclist was at the first roundabout at Lidl.

By the time I passed this roundabout the motorcyclist had accelerated past all the traffic and was actually on the brow of the hill near McDonald’s, an excellent feat of “speed reducing” traffic measures which has cost local taxpayers thousands of pounds.

Again, as I was waiting to turn right at the first set of lights at the Palmerston Road junction an articulated lorry drove through a light just turning red and then proceeded to drive through a red light against him on the second set of lights.

I sincerely hope that both of these “careful” motorists are facing prosecution as I feel that these two and probably more have no regard for other motorists at this junction and more than likely do not consider safety a factor when driving on any roads anywhere.
