OAK Field Primary School should stay open because it is a good school.
Many people on the Gibbonsdown estate have attended this school and have sent their children there.
Our school receives a better report every time the inspectors visit.
We have good caring teachers and a good headteacher who has turned the school around.
It also has the best playground in Barry, with areas for the nursery, infants and the juniors and a big patch of grass.
Our classrooms are also getting better every term. Oak Field is also the only school in Barry which has a full day nursery.
Our headteacher plans good trips for us and fun things to do, and our teachers and governors are trying to make our school a better place.
I go to this school and it’s a good school – so please don’t close it down.
