I CANNOT believe the gall of so called public servants Councillor Elmore - a man I once had tremendous respect for - and Councillor Rob Curtis who have both finally shown their true colours in relation to their lack of concern for the future of Oak Field school.

Rob Curtis a governor of the school allegedly had more important things to do than attend a meeting on the future of this school - he should be thoroughly ashamed of himself. Councillor Elmore has shown an even worse level of concern and contempt for Oak Field School. He was not present at the meeting either - and he being the cabinet member for children's services. He is however, it is alleged, to be taking a tougher stance on the two schools in the rural Vale. This is hypocrisy beyond belief.

What happened to the openness and transparency we were promised by Labour at the local elections last May?
