STILL GOING: Sea View Ladies skittles team in the 40s.
THE Looking back picture of a ladies skittles team in the Barry & District News on February 7, was not the Sea View Ladies as stated.
Mrs Holmes, who was one of those pictured, had a team at the Sea View club but it was not the Sea View Ladies.
Mrs D Rees who brought in this picture is the daughter of Mrs M Hartery who started the team in the 40s, which is still running. Some of the names Mrs Rees remembers of those pictured are Mrs Iberson, Mrs Seyes, Mrs Olding, Mrs Hartery, Mrs Land and Mrs Ford.
