THIS year Tenovus will celebrate its 70th Birthday.

Since the charity began with ten volunteers in 1943, thousands of volunteers have supported us every single year and remain at the heart of everything we do. As the global financial crisis continues to have an effect on all aspects of our lives, the need for us to provide essential services for cancer patients and their families is greater than ever - this work would simply not be possible without the hard work, dedication and commitment of our wonderful volunteers.

They work tirelessly in a variety of roles in the charity, across Wales and the South West, so once again we will be hosting our annual volunteer awards later in the summer to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers who dedicate their time to us.

The Volunteer Awards nominations are now open, so if you know someone who is a Tenovus volunteer, why not nominate them?
