THERE are many good people in Barry doing great thing to make Barry yet better. The problem is we need to connect them together better and also celebrate what they do so as to inspire others.
Seven inspirational local heroes, from internationally famous ice cream man Marco Zeraschi to the football supporters who are trying to save Barry Town FC, are coming together to share their stories to mark the start of a new type of bank - an Ideasbank - for Barry.
The seven speakers, each speaking for just seven minutes, will seek to inspire others to think of ideas to help make Barry yet better at the free special launch event. It takes place on Monday, November 26, at 7pm in the Glamorgan Suite in the Memorial Hall, Barry. Admission is free.
