OAKFIELD primary school pupils are appealing for wood donations and gardeners to help get the school garden to grow.
Following last summer's flooding, the garden has been left lifeless - and despite plants growing in pots, the school needs help to get the garden back on track.
Julie James, an LSA at the school said: "We are really keen to get our garden planted and green, but after the floods we have been struggling with it.
"We are selling these little bags from street children in India - they are well made and really interesting.
"The money we have paid for them goes to a good cause, but when we sell them, the profit we make will go towards buying wood for the school garden."
Anyone who would like to buy some of the paper bags, which sell at £1 for three, or anyone who can help with the school garden, can do so by contacting Julie at the school on 01446 704606.
