SEVEN Bryn Hafren pupils taking part in a rainforest conservation project to the Amazon in February 2009 held a cake break at their school on Friday, April 24, to raise funds to help them on their way.
It was a great success and in just 20 minutes the pupils had raised £52 for their appeal. Thank you to everyone who gave their support.
The team are taking part in various events over the next few months, including bag packing at local supermarkets, car washing, sponsored run and much more.
John Smith MP has donated a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament and tea on the terrace at the Commons, which the team are selling tickets to win for £1 each.
For more information on any of the events contact Mrs A Smith or Miss A Jones at the school.
