First Oxbridge students for Ysgol Bro Morgannwg!

WARMEST congratulations to three Ysgol Bro Morgannwg year 13 pupils, Mollie Arbuthnot, Mathew Metcalf and Ruth Pilcher, who have been successful in their applications for places at Oxbridge this year.

They are the first pupils from Bro Morgannwg to attain places at Cambridge or Oxford, quite a feat considering that the sixth form was only established four years ago.

Mathew will study Engineering at Wadham College, Oxford; Ruth will study History at St John’s College, Oxford; and Mollie will study German and Russian at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.
