A BARRY charity shop that helps people with learning disabilities gain retail experience is appealing for residents to donate unwanted items in a post-Christmas clear-out.
Volunteers at Nova, in High Street, will recycle any donated unwanted gifts by selling to customers who may have wished they had had a particular item as a present instead.
The Vale Plus-owned shop welcomes good quality clothing, books, bric-a-brac, and saleable items to raise much-needed funds and keep its clients busy with their shop skills learning.
Donations can be taken to the shop from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, except public holidays.
Alternatively, to arrange collection on a Wednesday morning call 01446 420427.
