REGISTRATION has begun for the Santa Fun Run at Barry Island this Christmas.

The Barry Town Council (BTC) family event, caters for all abilities, and you can run, walk, or jog the two kilometre route.

Registration will begin at 10.30 am with the race starting at 12pm on Sunday, December 3.

There will be music and maybe a visit from Father Christmas himself.

Entry is £6 for each adult and children under 16 can take part free.

All adult participants will receive a free Santa Suit to take part in, with children being encouraged to get into the festive spirit and dress up.

All those taking part will also receive a medal.

This year the fun run is in aid of the BTC mayor’s 2017/18 charities -Ty Hafan and the British Heart Foundation.
