POLICE in Barry are appealing for information following an assault which occurred in Main Street, Barry on September 7.
A man was attacked with a weapon – possibly a hammer – in the street by a group of males at approximately 21.35pm. They made off from the scene in a small orange car.
The victim of the assault was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Anybody who may have seen the assault or who has information about who was responsible is urged to contact South Wales Police via 101 quoting reference *350472 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
