The following cases were heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates' Court sitting at Cardiff:
Samuel Anthony Camilleri, aged 39, of Chesterfield Street, Barry, pleaded guilty to stealing an Apple imac mouse and to failing to surrender to custody. He was fined £110 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
Holly Alvarez, aged 39, of Clive Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £50 compensation, £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
Leigh Ann Cannon, aged 42, of Gibbonsdown Rise, Barry, pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing make up products. A community order was made and she was fined £80 and ordered to pay £265 compensation.
Jordan Steven Karnicki, aged 18, of Amherst Crescent, Barry, pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without consent and before it was recovered damage was caused to it. A community order was made and he was banned from driving for 12 months. He was ordered to pay £1275 compensation.
Callum Powell, aged 20, of Cardiff Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without consent and before it was recovered damage was caused to it. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £425 compensation.
Amy Louise Lake, aged 26, of Hathaway Place, Barry, pleaded guilty to wilfully obstructing a constable in the execution of his duty and being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which an accident occurred during the period of a conditional discharge order. She was fined £120 and her licence endorsed with five points. She was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
