A FORMER Barry restaurant with a nautical history will one of the lots at a Cardiff auction and it could be yours for around £90,000.
The Tudor-looking former seaman's mission-turned Four Lanterns restaurant is scheduled to go under the hammer at the Park Inn Hotel, Circle Way East, Llanedeyrn, Cardiff, after 5pm on Thursday, October 20.
The detached two storey building occupying a prominent position on the corner of Broad Street and East Street, just off High Street, was originally used as a seaman’s mission prior to its conversion to a Greek restaurant.
It traded as an established restaurant for more than 40 years and later adopted a vegetarian menu before it closed down.
The building offers would be suitable for leisure or flats development – subject to planning permission.
The ground floor restaurant has a seating area for approximately 60 covers and bar area.
