The following cases were heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates' Court sitting at Cardiff:

Callum Clements, aged 20, of Barry Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to disclosing a sexual photograph or film without the consent of the person who appeared in it. He was sentenced to six weeks detention suspended for 12 months. A restraining order was made and he was ordered to pay £200 compensation, £85 costs and a £115 surcharge.

Callum Tyrrell, aged 19, of Court Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to stealing a total of £180 cash during two burglaries. A community order was made requiring 80 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. He was ordered to pay £85 compensation, £50 costs and an £85 surcharge.

Danielle Jade Carmeila Beacham, aged 38, of Holmes Street, Barry, was found guilty of harassment and assault. A community order and a restraining order were made and she was ordered to pay £250 compensation. She was also ordered to pay £310 costs and an £85 surcharge.

David George Simmonds, aged 41, of Holton Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to stealing long handle garden loppers and possessing a kitchen knife in a public place. He was sent to prison for 18 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 surcharge.
