The following cases were heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates' Court sitting at Cardiff:

Sarah Louise Thomas, aged 30, of Clive Street, Barry pleaded guilty to stealing clothing valued at £110 from Debenhams in Cardiff. She was made the subject of a drug rehabilitation order and was ordered to pay £85 costs, a £5 fine and an £85 surcharge.

James Thomas Inch, aged 35, of Fairford Street, Barry pleaded guilty to being at an address he was prohibited from being at by a restraining order. He was given a 20 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to pay £85 costs and an 380 surcharge.

James Brett Tamlin, aged 35, of Holton Road, Barry pleaded guilty to stealing a purse containing £40 in cash, a driving licence and various store cards. He was given a 16 week prison sentence and was ordered to pay £65 compensation.

James Peacock, aged 31, of Palmerston Road, Barry pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour to cause alarm or distress. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.

Gareth John Williams, aged 31, of Fford Elin, Barry pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour to cause alarm or distress. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.

Nathan Colan Williams, aged 30, of Morlais Street, Barry pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour to cause alarm or distress. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.

Jason Saif, 39, of Beryl Road, Barry, was proven guilty through single justice procedure of driving without insurance. He was fined £660 and his licence endorsed with six penalty points. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 surcharge.

Am Rees, 18, Minster Close, Barry, was proven guilty through single justice procedure of driving without insurance. She was fined £660 and her licence endorsed with six penalty points. She was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 surcharge.
