THE team behind Barry's Hang Fire Smokehouse restaurant have officially launched their cookbook "The Hang Fire Cookbook; Recipes and Adventures in American BBQ".

The book features recipes gathered during Shauna Guinn and Samantha Evans' trip across America which served as the inspiration for the Pumphouse based BBQ eatery.

To celebrate the launch of their book, the Pumphouse team held a true Southern style shindig with family, friends and fans. Those in attendance were treated to an evening of recipes samples, an extract reading and a good old hoedown with music from Johnny Cash tribute act Johnny Trashed.

The Hang Fire Cookbook: Recipes and Adventures in American BBQ is available now online and in bookshops for £20.
