CHRISTMAS is coming to Barry this weekend, and King Square will once again be lit up by the incredible 3D spectacle that transformed Town Hall last winter.

The 3D projection, which turns Town Hall into an animated Christmas extravaganza, was such a great success last year that it is back for 2015.

As well as this welcome return, the town lights will officially be being switched on by Barry boxing sensation and featherweight world champion Lee Selby.

A full day of activity will begin on the square at 12pm on Saturday (November 28) with Bro Radio providing entertainment, a Christmas market featuring a range of local and guest traders, bands, choirs, children's entertainment and more.

Topping off the event will be a visit from Santa and his sleigh. The lights will be officially switched on at 5pm.

Prior to the King Square event on Friday (November 27) the High Street Christmas lights will be being switched on at 8pm.

The High Street traders have once again organised a great evening of fun, with entertainment being provided by Bro Radio.

There will be stalls, food and fun for all the family as usual at High Street, with the Christmas festivities getting started from 4pm.
