BARRY Island-based Vale and Town councillor, Steffan Wiliam has made it through to round three in BBC One’s new Saturday night evening entertainment show.

Dad-of-three Steffan features as the “adventurer” in Morocco in Prized Apart.

Steffan, 47, in the purple team, undertook a number of individual and team tasks testing mental and physical skills – riding a camel, navigating the Sahara Desert to a Bedouin camp, after finding a map, in the team task and S.

He said: “It’s great to be back. I feel Peter O’Toole, Laurence of Arabia, eat your heart out.”

He finished in the bottom three in the magic carpet survival challenge meaning Nicky once again had to correctly answer questions to guarantee his return to Morocco to compete.

Emma Willis and Reggie Yates present the show in which contestants battling to win £100,000.

Prized Apart is on BBC One at 7pm on Saturday, June 27 and available on BBC iPlayer for two weeks after broadcast.
