THE Vale’s country parks are hosting a series of Go Wild events for kids across the summer holidays.

Rangers at Cosmeston, Porthkerry and the Heritage Coast will be hosting a range of Go Wild events, including den building and fires, bug hunting, and beach bushcraft.

Events will be held at Porthkerry from 10am to 11.30am every Tuesday morning from July 21 featuring Go Wild sessions on mammals, survival, and bugs.

At the Heritage Coast centre sessions will be held every Wednesday from July 22, and will feature exploring rock pools on Llantwit Major beach and beach bushcraft sessions.

And at Cosmeston every Thursday from July 23, sessions will include den building and fires, and dragonflies and butterflies.

All sessions are suitable for 7 to 11 year olds and cost just £3 per child. Spaces are limited so booking is essential to avoid missing out.
