STOLEN items that police in Barry recovered earlier this month have been reunited with the owner thanks to help from the public.
An appeal to find the owner of a Karcher pressure washer and Makita lawn mower was issued at the start of June - after the items were recovered on open land at the rear of Barry College.
Police Community Support Officer Rachel Ward has confirmed that the items have now been returned to their rightful owner.
PCSO Ward said: "We would like to thank the paper and the public for their support in helping reunite the owner with their property.
"The owner has now been located and reunited with their items. The items had been stolen in a burglary whilst the owner was away on holiday. Police are continuing to investigate this crime."
