“CALLING all sea anglers and dog walkers... we need your help to keep our beaches clean and beautiful!”

This is the message from the Friends of Barry Beaches who will be holding their next local beach clean on Sunday, May 31, meeting at the Watch Tower beach, the Knap (adjacent to the Watchtower) at the usual time of 3pm.

If you like visiting clean and tidy beaches then why not spend an hour of your time volunteering to keep it that way?

The organisation needs more volunteers to spend just one hour helping to keep our beautiful beaches clean and tidy.

So if you enjoy walking your dog on clean beaches or enjoy a bit of sea fishing on clean unspoilt beaches then why not join us and spend a couple of hours helping us remove all the rubbish and fishing line?

All litter picking equipment will be supplied but remember to wear sturdy shoes or boots and dress for the weather conditions on the day.
