BARRY Island, in all its glory, can be seen on television tonight.
A normal Bank Holiday on the Island yesterday saw thousands of visitors arrive, together with another television film crew.
BBC Wales filming the next series of Doctor Who last week was yesterday (May 25) followed by the channel’s The One Show filming segments for its broadcast tonight.
The crew were filming one of Wales’ top seaside destinations with visitors reading the news and also dancing in honour of Welsh newsreader Huw Edwards, who along with popstar Ricky Martin, are special guests on the show.
The crew said people had been really nice and traders, who included Marco Zeraschi, helpful.
The One Show is on BBC One at 7pm tonight (Tuesday, May 26).
It can also be viewed on BBC iPlayer for two weeks following its transmission.
