THE new Asda store in Barry has made a generous donation to Ty Hafan children’s hospice.

The store provided a £1,000 cheque donation to the hospice which was arranged by the store’s community life champion, Lynette Griffin.

Lynette said: “We wanted to acknowledge the amazing work of Ty Hafan in the local community by providing a donation to help fund their ongoing work.”

Sully based Ty Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, in Barry and throughout Wales.

The hospice offers comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together.
