AN all-time high number of families took part in the Easter Egg Trial at Porthkerry Country Park.

THE glorious Easter sunshine saw more than 1300 eager Easter egg hunters visit Porthkerry and Cosmeston country parks across Easter weekend to take part in the hunt.

Participants collected their maps, found the Easter egg posts and answered the 10 questions to complete the trail and claim their bag of chocolate goodies.

The Easter egg hunt trail, which has been held at the parks for the last four years, has become more and more successful each year.

Park Ranger Aaron Jones said: “This year was such a success, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part.

"We look forward to holding the Easter trail again next year for all you egg hunters.”
