STARS from Disney’s Frozen and Santa have helped a Barry primary school raise a cool £1,000 plus at its Christmas Fair.
Barry Island primary’s PTA event witnessed a huge turnout of families and friends keen to gain attention from Father Christmas, Elsa, Anna and Olaf and part with some cash at the stalls and pin a nose on everyone’s favourite snowman.
Teacher Dominic Broad said: “Our Year 6 children also ran four stalls as part of the young entrepreneur project - selling Christmas decorations, gift bags and even snowman soup.
“The children managed to generate a very healthy profit from their venture.
"The Barry Island Christmas Fair was a huge success and saw our fantastic PTA raise an very impressive £1,190.”
