A BARRY charity shop is urging residents to make room for their winter woollies by ditching any clothing lingering unworn in wardrobes or draws.

Bobath Wales, on Holton Road, needs good quality clothes to aid its work.

Angela Parsons, Bobath Wales’ senior shops manager is asking people to ‘donate not dump’ their unwanted clothes and household items.

She said: “We especially need donations of summer clothes. It is very easy for people to donate and we also claim Retail Gift Aid, which means the taxman will give us 25p for every £1 your donation is sold for.”

Bobath Wales sells donated items to help raise funds for specialist physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy to children in Wales who have cerebral palsy.
