A FREE Stress and Anxiety Course will be run by Barry Communities First in partnership with Journeys Mental Health Charity.
The course will be held on Tuesday, December 16 at the Community Enterprise Centre, Skomer Road, Barry from 10am until 4pm.
The course will look at what anxiety and stress are, the signs and symptoms to look out for and helpful techniques on how to reduce the affects that this can have on everyday life. You’ll learn relaxation tips and methods for changing the way we think about ourselves and our abilities to cope effectively with life’s challenges.
People attending will also have the opportunity to build relationships and talk to others who have experienced similar difficulties.
Barry Communities First are a Welsh Government funded anti-poverty programme aimed at improving the health, prosperity and learning of residents living in parts of Buttrills, Cadoc, Court, Castleland and Gibbonsdown.
