CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 10 arrests issued last week.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 41 times during the week ending Sunday, November 16.

On November 10 one male was arrested on Arno Road for possession of an imitation firearm.

On November 12 one male and one female were arrested on Vere Street and Barry Road respectively for being outstanding wanted.

One male was also arrested on November 13 for criminal damage and breach of conditions.

On November 14 one male was arrested on Treharne Road for being outstanding wanted and another male was arrested on Holton Road for possession of class A and class B drugs and also being outstanding wanted.

On November 15 one male was arrested on Wyndham Street for burglary and theft, while another man on Holton Road was arrested for indecent exposure.

There were a further two arrests on November 16 as one male and one female were arrested for public order offences on Broad Street.

One female also had her vehicle seized on Court Road on November 16 for numerous traffic offences.

All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.

The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
