MEDICAL staff will take to the field in a charity rugby match in aid of a Barry colleague.
Welsh Ambulance Service and University of Wales Hospital accident and emergency department staff will scrum for their chum, Adrian Cook, a paramedic in the HART team in Bridgend.
Adrian was recently diagnosed with cancer and his friends and colleagues have rallied to support his fundraising efforts.
All proceeds from the rugby match will be going to Adrian’s chosen charity, Marie Curie.
Staff from the Welsh Ambulance Service will meet University of Wales Hospital Emergency Unit staff in a battle on the pitch at Cardiff Arms Park at 2.30pm on Sunday, November, 23.
Tickets cost £2.50 and are available on the day.
