GENEROUS families of a Barry primary school’s pupils helped those less fortunate to benefit from a bumper harvest.
Colcot Primary held its annual Harvest Festival on Friday, October 10 and celebrated with song and poetry in their year groups - sharing the important message of harvest with each other.
Deputy head teacher, Mark Ellis, said: “here was a lovely blend of traditional and modern songs and the children thoroughly enjoyed the special assembly. The school were joined by Father Ben who led the Harvest prayer. “A huge thank you to family and friends for their kind donations of tinned and dried foods for the Coastlands food bank.”
