POLICE in Barry are appealing for information after a large amount of gold and silver jewellery was stolen from a house in Pardoe Crescent, Barry.
The incident happened between 2pm on Saturday, August 23 and 10.15am on Sunday, August 24. Access was gained to the property through an insecure window.
The thief entered through an insecure kitchen window and stole a large amount of gold and silver jewellery as well as a substantial amount of cash - along with an Ipad2 and a PlayStation 3.
DC Rachel Knowles, who is investigating the incident said: “I would appeal to anyone who believes they may know anything about the incident to contact South Wales Police.
“Have you been offered any of the jewellery shown in the picture for sale? Do you know anyone who has acquired a large amount of cash? Have you heard any rumours as to who may be responsible? If so please get in touch."
