A N Initiative to help dementia sufferers will be launched at Barry leisure centre this month.
The ‘Singing for the Brain’ choir will perform on Friday, September 24, while organisations providing information on dementia service and support in the area will attend.
Vale Council mayor, Cllr Howard Hamilton will launch the event at noon before author Jill Grey gives a talk and book signing.
Alzheimer’s Society guest speakers will also take to the stage.
The event, in the Greenwood Street leisure centre’s main hall, runs from 11.30am to 2pm.
