BARRY primary schools have begun their campaigns to get all a supermarket’s gardening vouchers donated to their growing schemes.
Oak Field, in Gibbonsdown, High Street, Gladstone and St Baruc have so far come forward to announce they are collecting the coupons available from Morrisons’ annual event.
The Let's Grow programme, in its 7th year, aims to help schools show children where food comes from and inspire them to grow their own fruit and vegetables in the school grounds.
Vouchers can be collected until Sunday, October 26.
Customers receive one voucher for every £5 spent and these can be donated to any participating school.
