YEAR 6 pupils at Colcot primary school left fellow pupils and staff with a lasting impression with a concert and prom.

Children performed their Leavers Concert – School Daze – with the acting and the songs taking the audience through a full range of emotions from laughing to reminiscing.

The performance ended with the presentation of Leavers’ Books to all the children.

The Colcot Kid was presented with a special school hoodie to recognise achievement both academically and for their contribution to school life.

Colcot Kids this year were Thomas Evans and Bobbie McCarthy. Sporting trophies were also presented to Summa McDarren and Corey Connell.

The prom embraced a Hollywood theme with the children treated like celebrities as the staff decorated the hall in keeping with the theme.

Pupils experienced a red carpet walk and a mocktail reception drink.

The youngsters marked their final primary days by going swimming and having a Harvester lunch with their teachers.

Headteacher, Nia Cule, said: “They have been a fantastic year 6 and all staff wish them well for the future.”
