YOUNGSTERS at a Barry primary school have found an entertaining way to raise funds for two charities.
Year 6 pupils at Colcot Primary School - the Colcot Creations - organised discos and a film night and raised £360 for Ty Hafan and Noah’s Ark Zoo.
The Ty Hafan cheque was presented during a school assembly to Eleanor Ryan from Ty Hafan and the children presented the Noah’s Ark Zoo cheque during a visit to the zoo in July.
Headteacher Nia Cule said she was extremely impressed and proud of the children and their willingness to share and help others.
