PARTY in the Park this summer, with Voice finalist Ragsy and Britain's Got Talent star Jodi Bird.
Bro Radio, in Partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council is bringing a party to Romilly Park on Saturday, August 16 with a host of local talent.
Acts including Back To November, The James Clode Band, The Cyclones, Midnight Hour and Brother Steve join Ragsy and Jodi who will be finishing off what aims to be a great day of live music.
The free event will also feature funfair rides, stalls, activities, food and a licensed bar
Rock 'n Roll Chef Ragsy from the 2013 series of BBC One's The Voice said: “Its a massive honor to perform at such a fantastic event in Barry.
"It'd be great to see this event put the town back on the map and I personally cannot wait.”
Station Manager Gareth Sweeney said: “This event shows how strong our partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council has become.
"It's great for us to come together with them to create what we hope will be an event for Barry and the rest of the Vale to be proud of.”
The event has been funded by Bro Radio, The Vale of Glamorgan Council and local businesses, McDonalds, The Buck, Barry YMCA, GoMoBro and Bouchercodes.
