WHEN the late Bill Pitcher (R.I.P.) and his wife Kathy moved to Barry in 2009, his favourite charity became Ty Hafan who he regularly supported.
In memory of Bill and to raise funds for Ty Hafan, on June 21, 2014, Kathy and friends climbed Mount Snowden.
It took more than five and a half hours and raised more than £200.
Kathy would like to thank her family and friends, also Dr R Lewis of West Quay for their support and to those who said 'she would never do it'. Her reply is "The Irish Climbed The Mountain!”
