A COMPANY providing specialist support to children and adults, has held an open day in Barry raising money for Ty Hafan in the process.
Care Management Group (CMG) welcomed service users and guests at the Memorial Hall, Barry, recently.
Service users and staff sold homemade, bracelets, and cakes to raise funds for the charity.
Staff help those with learning disabilities such as autism, asperger's syndrome, physical disabilities, chronic and enduring mental health needs, sensory and communication impairments and associated complex needs including behaviours that challenge.
Services users gain supported living services, outreach and home support, residential and respite care, and the use of day skills/resource centres.
Service user Robbie Eves, 43, of Barry, said: "CMG is very organised.
"They help me clean, cook, polish aand iron and take me to the cinema and bowling."
Service user Philip Dally, 43, who competes for the Barry Beavers disabled swim club, added: "They are a team."
CMG thanked Sam and Sarah of Fresh Hair, Holton Road, Barry, and Once Upon A Time, of Bridgend, for donating raffle prizes and a hotdog machine.
