ON December 20, Santa came to Barry - or rather, 64 Santas came to Barry Barry Comprehensive School Year 10 took on the challenge of trying to raise £1,000 to help those without homes, or struggling to keep a home. And the good news is they did it!
Year 10 students, dressed in team colours, played in teams of eight in a fast and furious Barry cup final. All eight teams played each other, with the top two making it into the Santa Cup Final, and the bottom two making it into the Turkey Basting Tin.
The Elves, always the hardest workers at Christmas, were the winners after a dramatic penalty shoot-out!
Ms Phillips, dressed in festive style, awarded prizes to the athletes.
The boys played in the following Santa strips:

• 10SG – Man City (Sky Blue)
• 10JS – Stoke City (Red and White)
• 10JD – Aston Villa (Claret and blue)
