MEMBERS of Soroptimist International Barry and District, at the invitation of and with the co-operation of the staff at the John Lewis Partnership in Cardiff, recently held a very successful Beauty and Fashion Show in their third floor restaurant.
The event started with Cava, canapés and macaroons, which put everyone in the party mood. Laura of Liz Earle beauty products did an excellent beauty presentation and the personal stylists at John Lewis dressed the models who were all club members.
This very enjoyable event raised £1,167 for the president’s charities and members were extremely grateful to the staff at John Lewis for not only staging the event but also supplying the superb refreshments as well as raffle prizes.
