MEMBERS of Soroptimist International Barry and District recently organised a fundraising Fashion Show and Welsh Tea.
This extremely successful and enjoyable event was held at High Street School, Barry by kind permission of club member and head teacher, as well as model for the day, Sian Howell.
Other club members also modelled the clothes which were kindly supplied by Samantha B of Ewenny.
Club member Jill Pearson made all the delicious sandwiches and cakes with fellow members hosting tables. The event raised £800 which will be donated to the president’s charities, which include the Cardiff Institute for the Blind.
