BARRY District Scouts had a helping hand at their Christmas sorting office when Vale MP Alun Cairns dropped by. Alun Cairns helped process some of the thousands of cards that will be delivered across the Vale of Glamorgan.
Mr Cairns visited the scouts and parents at the Barry Scouts sorting office at The Smugglers building in Barry.
Mr Cairns said: “Processing, organising and delivering so many Christmas cards across the Vale of Glamorgan is a huge operation. So many scouts volunteer, along with parents, to give up their weeknights and weekends to make sure everybody receives cards. I pay tribute to the organisation and the sheer scale of effort undertaken at such a busy time of year.”
