Vale Council's Big Fill campaign heads to Barry's Cadoc ward

THE Vale council's potholes campaign, The BIG Fill, is heading to the Cadoc ward on the weekend of October 27 and 28.

Residents can report potholes in Cadoc until Friday (October 26).

To report a pothole, ring the council on 01446 700111 and say you are reporting a pothole under The BIG Fill campaign, or email the council's team at thebigfill@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk or plot the location of the pothole on the interactive map on the council's website.

Potholes can only be reported between Monday and Friday during the week prior to The BIG Fill arriving in the ward - see the schedule below.

If a pothole is marked in white, there is no need to report it - The BIG Fill is already on the case.

The one-year campaign is split into three phases to ensure The BIG Fill visits every ward in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Here are the remaining locations for Phase 1 of the campaign:

* Court ward on November 10 and 11 (You can report potholes in this area between Monday and Friday, November 5-9)

* Castleland ward on November 24 and 25 (You can report potholes in this area between Monday and Friday, November 19-23)

* Buttrills ward on December 8 and 9 (You can report potholes in this area between Monday and Friday, December 3-7)

During Phase 2 of the campaign, (January-April 2013), The BIG Fill will be visiting Baruc, Gibbonsdown, Llantwit Major, Llandough, St Augustines, Stanwell and Plymouth wards.

During Phase 3 of the campaign, (May-September 2013), The BIG Fill will be visiting Dinas Powys, St Athan, Rhoose, St Brides Major, Llandow Ewenny, Cowbridge, Peterston Super Ely, Wenvoe, Sully.

Specific dates for phases 2 and 3 of the campaign to be confirmed.

If you want to report a pothole and the ward is being visited during phase 2 or 3 of The BIG Fill campaign, you can still report it as part of the councils normal weekday schedule.
