Five-generation Barry family sing happy birthday to the head of their clan!

A FAMILY of five generations this week sang happy birthday to the head of their clan - who turned 90 on Thursday (October 18)!
Great-great-gran, former ladies maid Elsie May Young joined the ATS as a cook in World War Two, and became an expert in making corned beef pasties.
Ex-Essex girl Elsie, of Walker Road, Barry, met husband Tom in the Army and they married in St Mary's Church, Holton Road.
Great nan Lesley May Galsworthy was born in Essex but has lived in Barry since she was three years old and attended Holton Road school. Lesley lives in Amroth Court, Gibbonsdown, with husband John.
Nan Michelle Anne Marks was born in Barry and attended Cadoxton and Gibbonsdown primaries and Bryn Hafren Comprehensive School. Michelle also got married in St Mary's Church, Holton Road and now lives on Court Road with husband Michael, son Morgan and also Dannielle and Olivia-May.
Mum Dannielle Catherine Marks was born in Llandough Hospital.
Dannielle attended Ysgol Gymraeg Gwaun y Nant and then Ysgol Bro Morgannwg before giving birth to Olivia-May Lyden at Cardiff's University Hospital of Wales in August last year.
Michelle said: "Olivia follows Elsie in many ways. She he has the same bright blue eyes and shares her vivacity. "She is fun and very independent. "Everyone who meets them loves them!"
