BARRY charity shop manager Natalie Bolan has thanked everyone for their donations so far, as she continues to wear fancy dress outfits to work every day for a month.

Natalie, who has worked at the Tenovus charity shop on Holton Road for three years, has also fulfilled her wish of finding a Peppa Pig costume to wear to work.

She will wear the outfit – which has been donated on loan by a fancy dress shop - next Saturday (October 20). Natalie said her favourite costume so far has been a Cleopatra outfit - but that she is finding the attention a bit embarrassing.

"I have been sending people out to get lunch for me as I don’t want to leave the shop and get strange looks!" she said.

"There are some mad costumes - I was even dressed up as a cow last Saturday!

"A lot of people have helped out by bringing things in for me to wear."

Natalie is looking forward to wearing the Peppa Pig outfit on October 20, and said: “All the little children can’t wait. They like it more than anyone else."

Tenovus will be holding a tea and cake day the same day to help raise money for Breast Cancer Care, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

To sponsor Natalie wearing in her fancy dress efforts, call in at the shop or go to www.justgiving.com/Natalie-Tenovus or text NATB99 and the amount you wish to donate to 70070.
