New ballet school launched in Rhoose and Llantwit Major

A RHOOSE woman is hoping youngsters will pull on their dancing shoes after she launched her own ballet school.
Kayleigh Brown, of Fonmon Road, has set up the Turning Pointe School of Dance and will be holding lessons at Rhoose Community Centre on Stewart Road, and Llantwit Major Leisure Centre.
Former Stanwell pupil Kayleigh, who studied at the Royal Academy of Dance in London, has been dancing since she was three years old.
Now 24, she hopes to teach the next generation of ballet dancers.
Kayleigh, formerly of Llandough, is hoping youngsters from pre-primary up to Grade Five level will enjoy the classes.
"They are learning a skill as well as having fun," she said.
"It's also a great opportunity for kids to get fit.
"Boys are welcome to come too, as I don't just target it at girls."
Kayleigh, who competed at Championship level in Irish Dancing before studying Dance at the University of Chichester, added: "Anyone is welcome to come to a lesson and see what they think."
Kayleigh runs classes every Thursday and Saturday for a range of levels at Rhoose community centre, as well as classes every Friday at Llantwit Major Leisure Centre.
