Music lovers get set as Strictly Acoustic Live returns to Barry!

SATURDAY, September 29, sees the re-launch of Barry's premier live acoustic show, 'Strictly Acoustic Live!' - at a brand new venue.

Andy Johnson will again host the popular music night at The Wyndham Club in Harbour Road, Barry.

Now into its fourth year, the show is a mix of established local artists and young up-and-coming musicians, offering an eclectic blend of music covering blues, country, indie, pop, ballads and very often, something complety different.

Andy said: "It's been difficult to sustain it for so long, but the musicians, old and new, keep asking me to keep it going. "Now we have a new venue, we can give local acts the opportunity to show off their talent to a wider audience.

"We are also reverting to a monthly schedule in order to accommodate the large number of people wishing to play, which is great for us and our audience."

Saturday's line-up will include Taylor Jones, Atiya Hamonda, Lucy Atkins, Sam Woolett, Emma Everitt, Pete Tree, Brian and Caitlin Taylor, Carrianne Rogers, Seren Gomez, Shooting the Moon and more. All hosted by Andy Johnson, it promises to be a great night of live music.

Admission is only £2 and you don't have to be a club member to attend. So go along to the Wyndham Club and experience a brilliant night of live, acoustic music.

Doors open at 7pm and the music will kick off around 7.30pm.
