Man arrested following Barry shop and post office robberies

POLICE have arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with two robberies that occurred in the Barry area on Friday and Saturday (September 7 and 8).
The incidents took place at the Cash Solutions store on Holton Road, Barry, between 2.45pm and 3.10pm on Friday, September 7; and at the Post Office on Holton Road, Barry, at around 11.50am on Saturday, September 8.
The man was arrested earlier this afternoon (Monday, September 10). He remains in police custody.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed either incident, as part of their ongoing investigation.
