'Team Toy Story' runners to take on Cardiff 10k for Daniel's Cwtch Fund

A TEAM of Toy Story runners have pledged to go to 'infinity and 10km beyond' as they take strides to support a Barry youngster.
Team Toy Story - whose 18 strong membership features two Barry and one Penarth based runner - will launch themselves in the Cardiff 10km race on Sunday, to raise funds for Daniel's Cwtch Fund.
The fund was set up in December 2011 to support two-year-old Daniel Downton who was diagnosed with a rare, malignant tumour at the top of his spine. Daniel has endured a rigorous protocol of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy and all funds are used to support and care for Daniel, and to support the charities CLIC Sargent and LATCH, who have been supportive throughout.
Made up of work colleagues and friends, Toy Story characters taking on the 10km will include Woody, Buzz, Jesse, Rex, Slinky Dog, Ham, Alien, Barbie, Mr and Mrs Potato Head and many more.
